Prelude...

Isabela as a "dare-devil" or as she will tell you, a "freindly monster". She is posing quite naturally...so is Paige, she is the perfect Minnie Mouse!

At my special request, Raveena's playdate's venue was changed to our Houston Zoo's "Zoo Boo" ..

We got to have Jane, Paige and Reagan come along, too, for the fun!
The girls picked out their special pumpkins to take home!
Reagan basking in a huge pumpkin tub! (that's my arm holding her up!)

I had the honor of taking the girls on the carousel!
We had a snack buffet! Thanks ladies for the healthy snacks and yummy juice boxes!
The girls had no problem brushing hair!
Raveena being the popular leader!

The girls sharing a seat on the stroller...on the way out for a yummy patio lunch at La Madeline!

A hand-crafted Girrafe mask!
Isaebela pulling Dylan with her..she so loves him!
After lunch playtime while parents sip on a nice glass of wine in the middle of the afternoon..nice!

We got to see the Hills for an after-dinner night cap!

Getting home to cuddle with my big baby!

After a Sunday lunch with the Hills and the Alexanders, we meet up again at The Galleria!
by definition, "prelude" means "a preliminary to an action, event, condition, or work of broader scope and higher importance". That's what the month of October means for me. I absolutely LOVE our winter holidays. My favorite being Thanksgiving Day, then Christmas Eve, oh, yes, my birthday and then lastly, New Year's Eve. It's a time for family and friends' gathering, a time to show others you love them with special gifts and a time to be so thankful to our creator and savior. While October does not host such a holiday in the same caliber as Thanksgiving and Christmas, there sure is the just-for-fun Halloween Day, at least for us around here. I am a huge "prelude" lover. I love the exciting anticipation of the bigger, greater days to come!

So, this weekend was an awesome prelude to more of our Fall Harvesting around here...If you read this blog, you know just how much my friends mean to me. So, spending time with them is HUGE for me..for all of us in our family. We got to see all of our (Houston) best friends this weekend! If you knew these men and women, you would see why it's paramount for us to get to do that. They make it so easy to be their friends and it's so fabulous how they make us feel so genuinely loved. How fortunate we are for them and all of these beautiful moments we get to have with them!
