Witty Wednesday

With Isabela's very faint appreciation for television, we miss out on any commercials with the latest kid gimmicks. So, we are never really in the "know" of toys. Although, around here, we would prefer more classic or educational enjoyment experiences. Like...coloring!

Just a minute ago, I walked by Isabela's latest colorful creation, well the start of it. But, that's not what made me stop in my tracks at first. I jolted when I saw markers laying on my new floor. For a second I started looking for those words to (re)explain to Isabela what proper marker care is supposed to look like. But, I then noticed that she was already being careful. All the tops to the markers were securely fastened. Not a big deal, right? But, as a mom, as a Type A type person, I just stopped to appreciate the fact that these special markers make it soooo easy for kids to cover their markers. I LOVE this innovative idea! With its "witty" flip top, there is NO way a top will be lost forever. Ahh...no missing top pieces. I just have to congratulate Crayola on this one. I will be paying the extra dollar on this one.
